Authority to spend $135,000 on Preston Highway project

The Metro Development Authority will use $135,000 to help revitalize Preston Highway between Hess and Phillips lanes.

The money will be used to hire an architectural firm to design improvements in sidewalks and landscaping and to buy items such as benches, said Drew Shryock, the authority's assistant director for business, development and financing.
